Micah 2
Actually, God Knows It All

The Morning Devotion Speaker: Ps Daniel
1.Plotting at Night, Acting by Day (v.1)
2.Seizing Land and Homes, Oppressing the Helpless (v.2)
Summary: Sometimes we think that only the sins we commit outwardly count as sin. But Micah reminds us that God also sees our plans and thoughts. He holds us accountable not just for our actions but also for our intentions. God doesn’t just look at what we do—He looks at why we do it.
God declares: “I am planning disaster against this family… You will not be able to save yourselves!” The land they seized by force will, in the end, not belong to them.
We may think we’re in control of our lives, making our own plans—but in reality, it is God who sovereignly plans all things. We must trust in His justice, for He will repay each person according to their deeds. Whatever we gain through deceit or manipulation will not last. A person reaps what they sow!
Rejecting Truth, Believing Lies (vv.6, 11)
Twisting God’s Character, Shifting the Blame (v.7)
Defiled Behavior, Driving Away Glory (vv.8–10)
These people didn’t want to hear the truth from God—they only wanted to hear comforting lies. They rejected honest and challenging words, preferring false messages of peace and reassurance.
It’s like a sick person refusing to see a real doctor, choosing instead to believe a quack who says, “Take my miracle pill—guaranteed to cure everything and make you live forever!” In the end, the illness becomes fatal, and they remain unaware.
1. God Gathers the Remnant Himself (v.12)
2. God Breaks Open the Way Himself (v.13)
God doesn’t just save us from sin—He also leads us into our calling, toward true freedom and hope. If you feel stuck or trapped today, don’t be afraid—God is the Way-Maker. He can open up a new path in your life.
God’s salvation isn’t just theory on paper—He personally leads you out and into renewal.
God knows the schemes in our hearts, but He also knows our repentance!
Are you willing to let Him step into your life, break through your walls, and lead you into a path of true freedom?
Yes—God actually knows it all.
But will you let what He already knows become the starting point of your repentance—and the beginning of His blessing?
